Challenge
- Due to the rapidly changing landscape of the COVID-19 space, evidence generation activities must focus on data sources which contains the most up-do-date data
- To support a COVID-19 therapeutic, there is a need to identify data sources which would allow timely access and analysis of data
Solution
- A Rapid search of published and unpublished sources undertaken to identify data sources used for COVID-19 studies
- Prioritisation was given to sources with <3 months data lag, capturing primary and secondary care, collaboration with industry, and capture of COVID019 vaccine data
Outcome
- 5 data sources selected for deep dive characterisation + 3 study proposals developed
- Studies initiated with 2 data sources
